В статье рассматриваются наиболее интересные факты из жизни и творческой биографии И.С. Тургенева, позволяющие составить психологический портрет писателя. Анализируются воспоминания его друзей и современников, критиков и почитателей его таланта, а также собственные размышления И.С. Тургенева, демонстрирующие противоречивость и многогранность его личности. Раскрывается принцип «тайного психологизма», положенный в основу большинства произведений писателя. Знакомство с обстоятельствами, событиями жизни, увлечениями И.С. Тургенева проясняет причины формирования и проявления типичных для него психологических особенностей, а также выявляет источник побуждающих сил его творчества.
Abstract. In the article, the author considers the most interesting facts from the life and creative biography of I.S. Turgenev, allowing to make a psychological portrait of the writer. The memories of his friends and contemporaries, critics and admirers of his talent are analyzed. Also, reflections of I.S. Turgenev, demonstrating the inconsistency and diversity of his personality are considered. The principle of “secret psychologism”, which is the basis of the most writer's works, is revealed. Acquaintance with circumstances, life events, I.S. Turgenev’s hobbies clarifies the reasons for the formation of psychological characteristics typical of him, and also reveals the source of the motivating forces of his work.
