Calculation of the resource potential of soils of a large agro-industrial region of the Leningrad region was carried out. The specific resource potential of soils is in the range from 0 to 90. Rendzic Leptosols have the maximum SRPS, and Fibric His-tosols have the minimum SRPS. The opposite picture has the overall resource potential of soils. Rendzic Leptosols have the low ORPS, while Fibric Histosols are characterized by the ORPS of a higher value. In a comparative analysis of the reconstruction and the modern maps, significant changes in the ORPS were revealed.
