In the article some relevant characteristics of the Galician women’s linguistic identity are considered. Based on the gender approach to the study of linguistic phenomena, the author analyzes the functioning of adjectives and its equivalents in the Galician oral language and offers a fragment of women’s speech portrait, highlighting a number of specific characteristics of female speech at the lexical, stylistic and syntactic levels. The semantic analysis allows characterizing the linguistic world-image of the average Galician woman, reflected in her speech portrait, as anthropocentric.
