The round table upon social problems of the digital economy took place on November 3d, 2018 in Saint Petersburg State Institute of Psychology and Social Work. It should be noted that shifting the focus to information and communication technologies that are becoming available at this stage in the development of society, do not solve social problems, and sometimes even aggravate them. Consequently, the task of the event, aimed at comprehensive consideration of the challenges facing the digital society, the digital economy, is relevant, and thus increases the significance of the results and conclusions presented by its participants.
