Modern political relations between Tirana and Moscow are built on the pursuit of business and constructive partnership despite the different attitudes to some international problems (for example, the Kosovo crisis, NATO expansion, the tragic events in Ukraine, the fight against terrorism). The author in general evaluates the future of Albanian-Russian relations positively, noting the tendency towards the restoration of cultural and creative contacts, mutual trust, the strengthening of diplomatic relations and expansion of trade and economic cooperation.
