N2 - Phenomenon of self-respect of an adult is considered in the article, its sources and components are investigated. Sources of a child' self-respect are the mother's and then other close people's acceptance and respect. The respect of a child allows mother to be guided by prospect of development, recognizing for the child the full right of independent existence in the future. Acceptance and respect of mother create safe and free space, the child internalizates this experience. It becomes space of an inner world, an emotional resource of a person. There are existential self-acceptance and self-respect in the form of images and echoes of children's experience in it. In the process of the age development self-respect is enriched with personal estimations in activity and dialogue. Consolidation of self-respect as a structure integrating the person is doubtless.
