Oral spontaneous speech is characterized by the presence of unique elements. These include, for example, pauses of hesitation, metacommunicatives and other pragmatic markers (pragmatems), bloopers, etc. The article is aimed at finding the correlation between the occurrence of slips of the tongue and word fragments in spontaneous speech of Russian native speakers and their social characteristics, as well as the quantitative comparison of these two types of speech disruption. The research is based on the corpus of oral everyday speech which allows to search for correlations between the occurrence of speech failures on the one hand, and the gender, age, level of speech competence and the type of speech task, on the other.
