The report proposes to assess the polemic potential of the philosophical hermeneutics of H.-G. Gadamer, to trace the history of the dialogue between the author of «Truth and Method» and some of his interlocutors and opponents – Jürgen
Habermas, Karl-Otto Apel, ErnstTugendhat. It is proposed to apply one of the tools of gadamer’s hermeneutics – the hypothesis of an "Wirkungsgeschichte" – to its very concept – to present it in a moving image of a becoming whole of interconnected positions.
