The article raises the question of the formation a new type of the mind, different from classical prototypes. Arguments in favor of the concept of digital reason are proposed, and the boundaries and basic structural principles of this formation of the mind are outlined. The digital mind is formed as a way to streamline the space of modern communications and acts as a necessary correlate of media policies aimed at managing not only individual acts of network communication, but also the very desire to enter into communication and realize oneself in it. The article also shows that in the modern world, trust in fakes is to a large extent determined by the nature of desire and the structure of identity, which is organized around loss and is associated with the danger of exposing one's own nature as fake.
