Ecological hydrogeology is a new applied interdisciplinary science with a social
orientation that studies the ecological functions of the underground hydrosphere and the characteristics of their formation and transformation under the influence of natural and naturaltechnogenic processes. The ecological functions of the underground hydrosphere are resource, hydrochemical, hydrodynamic and hydrophysical.
