The article describes color revolutions, their definition, essence, signs and causes of occurrence. Subject of research: color revolutions and its real examples. The purpose of the work is to consider various points of view, how and why color revolutions occur, to analyze the course of their course and consequences. It is concluded that what color revolutions are, what consequences they have for themselves, and how they differ from ordinary revolutions.
