The review contains an overview of the second edition of Sergey Kurochkin’s book “Domestic
and International Commercial Arbitration” in the context of the author’s scientific works
and commentaries. It is emphasized that S.A. Kurochkin is consistent in the development of
the modern theory of domestic and international commercial arbitration, updating its main
theses, applying economic analysis of law to this, and formulating practical proposals. Special
attention is paid to the analysis of new sections on sports and online arbitration. The review
contains critical comments and suggestions for deepening the author’s further research.
