In the paper new methodology of study pedogenesis is considered. Methodology consists of systems approach which connects with concepts of field soils formations and forms of moving the substance. It has been shown that the models ofpedogenesis are represented hierarchical system of the processes. Such processes are profileforming, horizon-forming, elementary and individual. The latter processes are the basis of soil formation at all stages of the development. They are associated with mechanisms of reproduction of actual fertility and many ecological functions.
