Objective: to describe non-specific morphological manifestations of listeriosis infection in early stages of the disease in case of postnatal fetal death. Fundamentals. A key feature of listeriosis is possibility of pathogen penetration through placental barrier followed by development of severe systemic lesions and negative perinatal outcomes. Conclusion. Non-specific clinical symptoms of listeriosis infection stipulate impossibility of the use of etiologic therapy and lead to intrauterine infection, including process with minimal morphological manifestations.
