The article dedicated to the main strategies of the development of philosophy in the 21st century, the philosophy of synthesis, proposed by M.N Epstein. The problem of extraphilosophical foundations and extraphilosophical investments in the formation of new philosophical movements of the twentieth century is emphasized. The concept of M.N. Epstein can be considered in perspective of the philosophical ideas of J. Bataille, E. Jünger, W. Benjamin, V. Flüsser, J. Baudrillard.
