Ilya Igorevich Dokuchaev (born August 28, 1971) is a Russian philosopher, cultural scientist, lawyer, art critic and publicist. Candidate of Cultural Studies, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor (2007), Professor of the Russian Academy of Education (2020), Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts (2024). The author of the concept of multi-level semiosis (the process of creating and interpreting signs and texts of various types), understood as an a priori form of any process of human activity, the concept of historical types of intersubjectivity: functional and role communication in traditional and creative culture, the concept of axiological foundations of culture, understood as an integral generative model of a cultural-historical type. Translator of philosophical works of the German phenomenologist Ludwig Landgrebe.
