Аннотация
1. 1. Sodium reabsorption is low in frog renal tubules and is much higher in rat kidneys-18 ± 1·3 and 175 ± 10·5 μequiv/min per g kidney, respectively. 2. 2. A high level of sodium transport in rat kidneys correlates well with a similarly high activity of succinic dehydrogenase as compared to the activity of Na+,K+-ATPase. 3. 3. In rat kidney cortex the content of phospholipids and particularly of the mitochondrial cardiolipin is higher than in frog kidney. 4. 4. There is a higher content of monoenoic fatty acids in the glycerophosphatides from frog kidney as compared to rat kidney.
