Due to various anthropogenic activities, the ozone layer is depleted. There-fore, it is necessary to continuously monitor the Total Ozone Column (TOC). There are various methods to monitor the ozone content in the atmosphere. The current study presents a method for obtaining information on the TOC based on measure-ments of the outgoing thermal radiation spectra by the Russian IKFS-2 instrument on board the «Meteor-M» No. 2 satellite. Application of the same technique to measurements in 2021–2022, when the satellite swath width increased to 1500 km, is considered. Based on comparisons of the results with independent measurement data, it is shown that the transition to the 2021–2022 period slightly worsens the agreement between the IKFS-2 data and independent data. It is also shown that training the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) on the entire dataset for 8 years of measurements improved the agreement over the last 2 years, with virtually no dete-rioration in it over the first 6 years of measurements. The average discrepancies between the independent measurements and the TOC data obtained by IKFS-2 are less than 2%, and the standard deviations of the differences are less than 3%. There is an increase in discrepancies in the polar regions in the winter and spring periods. The analysis of the results in the polar regions is carried out with ozonesonde, which take measurements throughout the year, as well as during the polar night. There is good agreement between the IKFS-2 and ozonesonde data, including extreme TOC drops at high latitudes of both hemispheres in the winter-spring period. The standard deviations of the differences between the IKFS-2 TOC data and the ozonesonde data ranged from 5.3 to 11% (17–33 DU).
