A promising area of research of self-regulation in learning is the study of the ability of students to anticipate the difficulties of the educational process as potential sources of stress. Indicators of success in overcoming stress in the educational process are the levels of academic performance and subjective well-being of the student. The task of creating a model of anticipational viability (anticipazione viability) of the student is formulated. As its theoretical basis the concepts of "fiiture-oriented" coping, anticipational consistency of personality, stress and coping resources are considered. The concept of "anticipational consistency of the student" and the method of its operationalization are proposed. An empirical study was conducted, its stages were described: identification of stress situations in the educational process (85 respondents); creation of the questionnaire AS-higher education∗ 1, its verification (235 respondents); creation of the adjusted questionnaire AS-higher education-2. An empirical study was conducted, which was attended by 276 senior students of different specialties. A questionnaire containing questions about the academic performance of students; Scale of subjective well- being and the Scale of life satisfaction were used in addition to the questionnaire AS-higher education-2. The data of AS-higher education-2 questionnaire were processed by means of exploratory factor analysis. Five-factor model was selected as optimal, its adequacy was confirmed through confirmatory factor analysis. The components of antipational viability of students: discipline, prudence, self-regulation in learning activities, psychosomatic self-regulation, self-assessment of success are described on the basis of this model. Between indicators of all identified components was found statistically significant correlation, on the one hand, as well as between the data on academic achievement and indicators of subjective well-being, on the other; this confirms the correctness of the chosen model. The model can become the basis for creating a questionnaire that allows to identify deficiencies of anticipation of difficulties in the educational process of students who do not cope with the learning process.
