Thus, a posteriori relative uncertainty is 25. 5-58. 6% of the a priori relative variability of U. The accuracy of reconstructing U for an 'independent' set, as assumed, is usually markedly less than for a 'dependent' set, which is conditioned by the relatively small volume of the 'dependent' set, and also by the lower quality of the space-time agreement of satellite and surface measurements of U for the 'independent' set. Additional study results are discussed in the paper.
