Abstract. This paper investigates the development of telemedicine services in the Russian Federation. The main problems and the trends in this sphere are reviewed. The aim of the research is to identify demand factors for telemedicine services in the Russian Federation. To analyze demand factors for the remote telemedicine services, a survey of Russian residents’ attitude towards telemedicine was conducted. Based on the research results, recommendations for improving the demand for telemedicine services are provided.
