This paper aims to report the reflection of Chinese DMs in Russian translations. As there are no corpora of Spoken Chinese accessible , DMs of the Chinese language are taught with reference to modern Chinese fiction material.The language in Chinese fiction is close to spoken Chinese. The cases of "jiu" are studied with special reference to a modern Chinese fiction novelist Feng Jicai.
