Abstract
The subject of the article is image of New Jerusalem in Galich-Volyn Chronicle. We see here numerous allusions both to Old Testament Jerusalem and New. Theme of Old Jerusalem is seen in the story about king's Bela invasion in 1234, for Bela is compared with king Sinaherib. The topic of New Jerusalem can be seen in the story about foundation of Holm and Kamenets. Holm is depicted as an ideal city, destinated to be a camp of saints.
