Abstract: Palladium-catalyzed tandem cyclization of 4,5-bis(arylethynyl)-1,2,3-triazoles in the presence of CuCl2 afforded benzocoumarin derivatives fused to 1,2,3-triazole in good yields. The structure of two of the synthesized compounds was confirmed by X-ray analysis.
