Abstract

Review on the main results on high temperature behavior of inorganic systems and materials obtained by the Knudsen effusion mass spectrometry (KEMS) during last five years is presented. The available information on vaporization processes and thermodynamic properties of these systems found recently is discussed with the indication of its great importance for the developing of advanced high temperature materials that may be used in the various fields of modern technologies such as space, nuclear and optical industries.
