Abstract

(Figure Presented) The diverse biological activities of compounds containing N-(hetero)aryl-2-imidazoline moiety and methods to construct them are comprehensively reviewed for the first time. This intriguing non-flat, cyclic amidine motif clearly represents an emerging privileged structure.
