In the process of studying the possibility of improving the properties of Al-Fe alloys with an iron content of 1.7 and 3.4 wt.% using the method of equal channel angular pressing (ECAP), due to the formation in an ultrafinegrained structure. The study found that the concentration of iron in an aluminum alloy in the cast state leads to an increase in the volume and volume of the intermetallic phase AlxFey and is accompanied by an increase and decrease in electrical conductivity. Also, an increase from 2 to 4 cycles of machining workpieces made of a strong aluminum alloy ECAP leads to an increase in characteristics without a noticeable change in electrical conductivity.
