The paper deals with the problem of force interaction of metallic balls made of a soft magnetic material in homogeneous and spherically symmetric magnetic fields (MF). As a result of the balls introduction into MF its perturbed state is induced, which manifests itself in MF force action on balls. The scalar magnetic potential of the perturbed field was derived, the forces and momentum acting upon the balls from the field side were determined. The cases of two and four similar balls were considered. The forces and momentum were determined approximately according to the Maxwell hypothesis. The comparison of the results obtained using different methods is realized.
