Digital image watermarking using DWT basis matrices

Abstract

This paper is devoted to image protection by means of computer steganography using wavelet techniques. Some research of the structure of the digital image is investigated, and we introduced its representation over basis images. Such basis images notation refers to orthogonal transform. We consider a set of wavelet basis images generated by orthogonal discrete wavelet transform and introduce a scheme for watermarking by embedding data to wavelet basis items.
