Abstract

The problems of scattering by objects situated in moving media differ fundamentally from similar problems for motionless media. It can be considered that the medium motion velocity is more than the velocity of light in motionless medium. This phenomenon has radical influence on solving boundary problems. The diffraction by a half-plane in the normal relativistic stream of plasma is investigated.
