The article analyzes the influence of natural and cultural sites on the development of relations between the CIS member states. It is noted that the dialogue of cultures and the strengthening of relations in the field of protection and preservation of cultural and natural sites play a key role in strengthening cooperation between the Commonwealth states. This ensures the interaction of countries in order to preserve the unique heritage and maintain historical memory, as well as has an impact on the rapprochement of peoples and conflict resolution. The purpose of the study is to analyze the current level of relations between the CIS member states in the field of conservation and protection of natural and cultural heritage sites, as well as to assess the risks and prospects for further cooperation. Based on the situational analysis of the actions of the CIS countries to protect cultural and natural heritage sites, not only development opportunities have been identified, but also potential threats and risks faced by the participating countries. These include environmental problems, armed conflicts, terrorism, criminal encroachments, a pandemic, and the illegal sale and export of heritage sites. The article focuses on identifying the factors of interest of the CIS member states in the development of cooperation in the field of protection and protection of natural and cultural heritage, as well as the problems that hinder it. It is concluded that the current global economic and political challenges necessitate the revision and refinement of the existing system of cooperation.
