Abstract

The article touches upon the concepts of the extra-curricular language course education, adult learners - their personalities and specific features that are seen within the context of learning languages. The article shares the results of the analysis of both Russian and foreign research devoted to considering adults as a specific category of learners of foreign languages. This data is of great importance in teaching the chosen category of learners within the framework of lifelong learning.
