Abstract

Alarsite (AlAsO4) is a new naturally occurring aluminum arsenate which is a product of fumarole activity associated with the Great Tolbachik Fissure Eruption of 1975 to 1976 in Kamchatka. This arsenate was found on the second cone of the Northern Breach.
