This paper focuses on the questions concerning the attribution of the penname «Leonid Savelyevich Savelyev» featured in the 1920–1930s literary publications. The authorship of a number of translations from English, French, German signed by this penname and published in the second half of the 1920s is ascertained; the article also contains biographical data on the translator L. S. Savelyev. The obtained results allow to update the bibliography of Leonid Lipavsky (1904–1941), who started to publish his works under this penname in 1926.
