In order to investigate the effect of dance therapy on the dynamic of the emotional-communicative sphere characteristics of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), we examined 34 children of two age groups, who were and were not participants of the dance therapy program. Using the method of expert assessments and included observation, we studied the dynamics of such characteristics as communication, involvement, expressiveness of emotions, manifestations of aggression, anxiety, impulsivity, openness to the new, emotional tension, creative manifestations. Methods: observation cards, mimic’s and pantomimic’s protocols. Data analyses: identifying statistically significant differences between evaluations before and after the project, as well as identifying the significance of differences between the experimental and control groups using non-parametric criteria.
