The paper describes a study of health-related quality of life and the attitude to the disease in 120 patients with a range of bone tumors: osteosarcoma (n=41), giant cell tumor (n=31), chondrosarcoma (n=30) and metastatic bone lesions (n=18). The means comparison as well as correlations of the basic parameters of quality of life and attitude to disease were made. Methods: «SF- 36 Health Status Survey», The Quality of Life Questionnaire-Core 30 by European Organization for Research and Treatment Cancer with the module “Bone Metastases 22”, “The type of attitude to the disease” and a structured interview. The results show that patients with different bone tumor types have differences in the quality of life characteristics, in the attitudes to the disease. They also have differently structured correlations of the measured items.
