The article considers different ways and means of expressing the statement and negation at the level of the Russian case system; identifies similarities and differences between them in the composition of phrases and sentences, including the difference in the order of words in the same constructions; describes the peculiarities of the use of the verbs иметь, обладать, существовать, находиться, etc., correlated with the meaning of the basic verb естьin Russian; offers the method of this data presentation, based on a progressive and logically verified methodical approach which allows to facilitate foreign students’ studies in Russian Grammar.
