World’s picture formation in the era of modernity was especially influenced by the scientific revolutions. Thanks to journalism, science at that time was perceived as a part of the cultural field. The matrix of the socio-cultural life of the era (informal educational initiatives, the education system, friendly circles) was the determining factor of the popular scientific press flourishing in the early twentieth century.
