In the article, problems of strategic priorities of the textile and clothing industry enterprises are considered. Comparative analysis of strategic priorities of managers of the industry (based on the results of IAPR NIU VSE) and new generation of managers (based on the modelling of creation processes and start of the new enterprises- St.Petersburg State University research) is given. Scientific hypotheses about coincidence or divergence of strategic priorities of the managers working in the industry and managers of a “new wave» are put forward and checked up. The analysis of the received results is stated.
