Abstract

Arctic powers develop and promote their Arcticness in many ways applying a variety of instruments. Digital Arctic Policy represents one of such instruments to be perceived as a complex of digitally articulated Arctic values and objectives of a government and a course of governmental efforts and measures dealing with national Arctic priorities. Digital articulation implies presenting and conveying of Arctic agenda on the World Wide Web. Digital Arctic Diplomacy to be considered as an instrument of Digital Arctic Policy implying utilization of multitude of web resources (mainly social media) to maintain and facilitate national Arctic Agenda and dialogue with indigenous people addressing their needs and aspirations. Canada and Russia also promote their Arcticness in digital sphere. Canada does it main-ly employing non-conventional web resources such as Social Media relying on different tac-tics, embracing various methods; Russia applies conventional web resources such as web sites of agencies in charge of Arctic
