The study involved 147 mothers of young and preschool children. A close relationship was revealed between life satisfaction, satisfaction with the material situation and professional activity of mothers of young and preschool children with parenting stress in the sphere of parents; marital satisfaction is associated with parenting stress both in the parent domain and the child domain. Life satisfaction is a predictor of overall parenting stress. A comparative analysis of women with low, medium and high levels of life satisfaction showed that women with a low level are characterized by a higher level of general parenting stress, primarily due to a higher level in the parent domain, and such characteristics as depression and isolation.
