The article highlights specific structural characteristics of the social competence concept. It is pointed out that such component of social competence as social reflection is underdeveloped in representatives of cer- tain vulnerable groups. Some playing and audiovisual information technologies that contribute to the develop- ment of this reflection are described. The prospects of their application as non-directive means of forming social competence are noted.
