Abstract

The most promising areas of the development of nuclear and particle physics are discussed. One of them is the synthesis of the achievements of nuclear physics and the nano-, bio-, information and social sciences to create nature-like technologies and deepen the understanding of a man (NBICS paradigm). The second is the transition to ultra-high energies and exotic states of matter (for example, quark-gluon plasma). The reports at the 70th Conference on Nuclear Physics provide extensive material for this discussion.
