ОЦЕНКА ЦЕНОВОЙ КОНКУРЕНТОСПОСОБНОСТИ ПОСТАВОК ПРИРОДНОГО ГАЗА ИЗ РОССИИ В СТРАНЫ ЕВРОПЫ И АЗИИ

This report addresses one of the key issues in the energy security of Russia — the competitiveness

of Russian natural gas supplies to the European and Asian markets. To draw conclusions, we used the most relevant data at the beginning of 2020 on the role of natural gas in the structure of the Russian budget, as well as data on the cost of gas production and supply from various countries based on open sources. The authors analyzed the comparative cost of gas supplies to key markets in Europe and Asia by exporters from Russia and its main competitors — the United States and the Middle East. Based on the forecasts of international organizations and specialized agencies, the authors formed forecasts of the price competitiveness of Russia and concluded on the prospects for Russian, American and Middle Eastern gas supplies, including LNG, to Asia and Europe for the period until 2025.
