Abstract
The article considers the main features of the nationally oriented model of teaching Japanese students the Russian language, caused by significant differences in the phonetic, grammatical structure and lexical system of these languages. The author points to the high efficiency of the national-oriented approach to teaching RCTS and emphasizes the need to create national-oriented manuals for Japanese students.
