Сергей Львович ФИРСОВ

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

In article it is told about methods and approaches of the modern Russian historians and publicists researching life and reign of the last Russian emperor. The author shows how political and ideological involvement can influence campaigns to a subject (first of all at those historians who call Nicholas II “tsar-propitiator”). Analyzing the works published in recent years about Nicholas II, the author shows, as in the 21st century history of the last Russian autocrat - a subject not only scientific (and pseudo-scientific) discussions, but also the subject forcing to think of the place of morals in history.
