Abstract

The article is devoted to the culturological approach to teaching a foreign language. Language is regarded as a form of expression of the national culture of the people and cannot be studied in isolation from the cultural and historical experience of the ethnos. This approach to teaching language helps to establish the process of intercultural communication and better understand the socio-cultural component of the language.
