The article discusses one of the problems of modern school. This problem is the distortion of the innovative pedagogical technologies in the way of their implementation in everyday teaching practice. The article reports on the causes and the consequences of such unjustified changes and proposes possible ways out of the situation. By the example of educational technology workshop the process of distortion of the original innovation is shown.
