Abstract

Using the exact calculation of the wave function a comparative analysis of the Fisher information, Shannon information entropy and expected value of probability density for the lowest bound and unbound electron states of H2 + was performed. It is established
that the dependencies on the internuclear distance of these characteristics, obtained jointly in the position and momentum spaces, have a minimum for the bound state in contrast to the unbound one.
