Abstract

The paper is dedicated to the first “vampire” novel in the history of
Turkish literature. The paper considers this piece of Turkish literature as a specific kind of interaction between two cultures or even as an example of “import of another culture”, which can be seen in such elements of the text as borrowings or loan words and citations.
